Why Should You Join PTA?
Every American citizen over the age of 18 has a voice in our government. At every election we have the choice of making our voice heard. Our children don’t have that power. By joining PTA you give our children a voice. State and National PTA is able to point to their list of members and say to our legislators, “This is who we represent, and this is what we want”. That is a powerful message that gains in power with every member we enroll.
Locally, the benefits of joining PTA are in the wonderful programs that we sponsor and the liaison that we can provide to the administration. Our school administration and District are very supportive of PTA and listen to our concerns. We encourage you to become an active member of the Ashley Falls PTA; it is a very rewarding experience.
How to Join: There are 2 easy ways to join -
- Click here to complete our online Membership and Directory form and pay through PayPal. PayPal accepts all major credit cards in addition to PayPal accounts.
- Complete the Membership and Directory form that was included in your first day district packet. Return the form with a $25 check payable to “Ashley Falls PTA” to your child's teacher or front office. Click here to download and fill in a PDF version of the form.
A Family Membership is just $25. Membership includes a school wide directory. It’s never too late to join!
The PTA General Association Board meetings are open to the membership and will be on the 3rd Wednesday of September, January, March and May. The general membership has a powerful voice in how the member funds are spent on behalf of our children. Please participate and make a difference.
